FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 25, 2006 Contacts: Karolee Gregerson 765.651.2001, ext. 118 (kgregerson@mooreheadcomm.com) (Marion, In.) - Moorehead Communications owners and operators of Cellular Connection stores throughout Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan and now Kentucky are the new owners of Owen Communications stores located in Madison, Seymour, Batesville, Columbus, North Vernon Indiana and Carrollton, KY. The Cellular Connection is a retail store providing Verizon Wireless services, cellular telephones and accessories, satellite television via DISH Network, services. The purchase of Owens Communication brings Cellular Connections store to a total of 108. The purchase of Owens Communications happens on the hills of the new Dish Call Center, located in the company's headquarters in Marion, Indiana. "We are excited about the recent growth of our company." says Marketing Manager Karolee Gregerson. "We have added new stores in Michigan as well." "During the month of February the Cellular Connection will be offer a Free Camera Phone after mail in rebate. The Cellular Connection has grown steadily over the past twelve years, and has become one of the larger retailers for Verizon Wireless in Indiana, Ohio and Illinois, and opened three stores in Michigan last month." The Cellular Connection, started in 1990 in Marion, Ind., has grown dramatically over the past three years, adding more than 94 new retail outlets in that period. The company currently operates 108 stores. The company is now one of the largest Verizon Wireless agents in the Midwest. Verizon Wireless is the largest communications provider in the U.S. with nearly 30 million wireless voice and data customers.
